Kifas Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you may receive a refund for a purchase of the Kifas Services and how to request one. It is part of and incorporated into the Kifas Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. 14-Day Refund Window
You may request a full refund of any purchase from Kifas within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of the original purchase. For recurring subscriptions, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of each billing date, including renewal billing dates.
2. What the 14-Day Window Covers
The 14-day refund window applies to all purchases of the Kifas Services, including:
- One-time Credit purchases (PAYG);
- The first payment for any subscription (Pro Plan or Enterprise Plan);
- Each subscription renewal payment; and
- Add-on purchases.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us using one of the methods below.
For purchases processed through Paddle (our merchant of record for most transactions): use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your purchase confirmation email, or visit https://paddle.net and select "Request refund."
For purchases processed through any other payment processor, or if you prefer to contact us directly: email legal@kifas.io with:
- Your registered Account email;
- The order or invoice number;
- The transaction date and amount; and
- A brief reason for the request (optional).
4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within fourteen (14) calendar days of approval of the refund request.
5. Effect of a Refund
Once a refund is issued, your access to the paid features associated with the refunded transaction will cease. Any Credits associated with the refunded transaction will be revoked.
6. After the 14-Day Window
After the 14-day refund window has elapsed, purchases are non-refundable.
7. Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewal charges but does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current billing period. If you want a refund of the current billing period, request one within fourteen (14) calendar days of the most recent billing date as described in Section 3 above.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the in-app Billing Settings (Account → Billing → Cancel Subscription) or by emailing legal@kifas.io.
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us at legal@kifas.io before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider. If you initiate a chargeback we reasonably believe constitutes fraud or abuse, your Account may be suspended or terminated.
9. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction. Where Paddle acts as merchant of record, Paddle's own Refund Policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy also applies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
